To create a clear identity and effective communication so they can further their mission, organisations should follow the following process:
Audience ExperienceIn this course, we’ll explore #3: Audience Experience. Once an organisation has an agreed-upon brand strategy, they can use that strategy to inform the creative elements of their identity. Then, their identity can begin to be applied to their communication by thinking through how their audience will experience the organisation. If your organisation does not have a clear brand strategy that outlines its target audience, what it offers that audience, how its audience benefits from its offerings, and what its personality is like, then I’d invite you to first review the course “Components of Identity” before working on the visuals or messaging that express your organisation’s identity.
If you’ve already clearly documented your organisation’s brand strategy, let’s jump into looking at the visuals that contribute to organisational identity!
