Teamwork vs. The Body of Christ

• “Teamwork makes the dream work” – collaboration and unity, but for Christians, the body is the true picture.
• Ephesians 4:1–6: Walk worthy, live with humility, love, and unity in one Spirit.
• 1 Corinthians 12:12–26: Many parts, one body; unique gifts, no division, mutual care.
• Salad vs. Stew: distinct parts vs. blended unity.
• Diversity of gifts comes from one Spirit; differences are God’s design.
• Unity thrives when members value and support each other.
• The body is called to love, worship, steward, disciple, and glorify God.
• Jesus is the head; we submit to His leadership.
• Teams focus on earthly goals; the body points to eternal purpose—equipping, maturity, and advancing God’s Kingdom.
• The body is greater than a team: rooted in Christ, interdependent, spiritually driven, eternally significant.
