• Everything we have, including time and money spent on communications, belongs to God, so we must steward it wisely.
• Assessments reveal what’s working, what’s missing, and where improvements can increase impact, but they must also be efficient and not overly time-consuming.

Set up regular rhythms for assessment:

• Annually: Review brand/identity consistency and clarity.
• Annually (or more if strategies change): Evaluate donor and audience experience (frequency, channels, preferences).
• Quarterly + campaign-specific: Track communication channel performance with team check-ins and annual staff reviews.
• Apply what assessments uncover by making changes and testing them gradually (e.g., A/B testing).
