Coercive and reward power

There are five reasons or powers why people follow leaders. Let’s first learn more from Malcolm on specifically the coercive and reward power.

Coercive power = I have the power to hurt others, that’s why they should follow me (e.g. 1 Peter 5:3)
Reward Power = Those who follow me are doing the best things for themselves because they will be rewarded by either me or God.
Donkey Approach = leading by means of a carrot, reward and a stick.
